TANGUB CITY: The Christmas Symbols Festival 2014,
here, has started last Dec. 1 and will close on Jan.10, 2015. So there’s still
a lot of time.
People from the different sectors and villages,
working round the clock, some putting the finishing touches on their Christmas
symbols, excites Mayor Philip T. Tan, a late PIA report said.
Since its time of old, the city has been promoted as
a tourist destination every yuletide season, and its lined-up festival aims to
uphold the spirit of Christmas in the hearts of the Tangubanons, who really
look forward to another 41 days of seeing their city all ablaze with lights.
Every resident’s ingenuity is enhanced and their
creativeness shown as their resourcefulness come up with very unique Christmas
symbols, thus transforming Tangub into what this year’s theme presents:
“Christmas around the world, Part III,” Tan added.
All sorts of people from neighboring communities and
from other areas in the archipelago view the displays and lights and give them
an idea what Tangub is all about, the Mayor ended.
