PAGADIAN
CITY: Members of the Zamboanga del Sur-Pagadian City Press Inc. (ZPPI) were
caught unaware, Saturday, after each grabbed hold a volley of gifts.
The
ZPPI held its 9th anniversary, Christmas party and induction of new officers
last Saturday at the Butterfly Garden, Provincial Government Center, Dao, this
city.
The
event was also attended by Gov. Antonio Cerilles and wife, Rep. Aurora, along
with board members Felicidad Fontanilla, Edilberto Adlaon and Pepito Degamo as guests.
ZPPI
is the intermediate organization of tri-media practitioners in Zamboanga del
Sur and Pagadian, with a membership of 60 members and affiliates.
The
party last Saturday followed the general assembly held earlier in the morning at Zamsureco-1
Hero’s Hall where the group’s new set of officers for 2014-2015 were elected.
The
new officers were: Marive Jongco (president), Ann Lu (vice-president), Levi
Cabatcha (secretary), Charnyl Albarracin (treasurer), Manny Maulana (auditor) and
Jong Cadion (PIO).
Don
Sherwin Lu, Yllen Ajhayjul, Vic Delpilar, Leah Agonoy and Rey Ramones are the
BODs.
In
her FB message, Jongco said she looked forward to the continued solidarity and agreement
of all members of the media organization.
She
likewise thanked the provincial government and its officials, including the business
sector for contributing to the success of the affair.
