Police
said the attack occurred at dawn last Dec. 29 at the house of a certain Efren
Lopez at Purok Bayanihan.
Police
said the attacker fled on a motorcycle after tossing the M61 grenade that
landed in front of the Lopez’s house where it exploded.
The
grenade damaged Lopez’s car, said police, who recovered the safety lever of the
grenade.
Investigation
is ongoing on the motive of the attack as no individual or group claimed
responsibility.
