PAGADIAN
CITY: The Citizen Satisfaction Index System (CSIS) generates results and gather
citizen’s feedback on reach and quality of basic public services provided by a LGU.
A
new release from DILG said Dapitan and Pagadian cities will be next on CSIS utilization
conference, following the one conducted earlier in Dipolog, Teresita Catalbas said.
The
dates assigned are: Dec. 17 for Dapitan at Travelbee, and Dec. 22 in Pagadian at the Executive
Function Hall.
Local
executives, legislative officials, department heads and the academe are
expected to attend.
They
will help devise strategies, establish agreement and interventions on how the
LGU can utilize the results presented.
This
will also improve the delivery of local services in benefits, awareness,
assessment and importance of the program, Catalbas said.
For
DILG-9 Reg. Dir. Paisal O. Abutazil, the consistent commitment of CSIS will help
LGUs assess service delivery performance.
It
will also satisfy citizens and give indispensable feedback, he added.
In
the Dipolog CSIS conference, Dr. Maria Rio A. Naguit, Jose Rizal Memorial State
University system research director, commented that the findings and results of
the study will motivate improvement on services and delivery performances to
the people.
