PAGADIAN CITY: Police
arrested a man wanted for intimidating another in Purok Sweet Love, Brgy
Dumagok, noontime of Nov. 10, a report from the PNP office said.
Police chief P/Insp.
Dahlan T. Samuddin name the arrested man as Alex Basilan.
Basilan is the subject
of a manhunt operation by virtue of an outstanding warrant of arrest for light
threats.
He is presently detained
at Pagadian PNP detention cell since he failed to present a P2, 000 bail bond for
his case.
In other news, Vitali, Zamboanga city, police arrested a drug dealer and recovered from his possession
two heat-sealed sachets of suspected shabu, drug paraphernalia and marked money
used by a police agent supposedly to buy shabu from the suspect.
The suspect was
identified by Vitali police as Fernandez Alviar.
Alviar was arrested in
a police campaign against illegal drugs in Brgy Mangusu last Nov. 10 led by Police
S/Iinsp. Salvador E. Galvez
The suspect is presently
detained at the PNP detention cell for appropriate filing of charges.
