2 teenagers shot in Zambo



ZAMBOANGA CITY: Police said they are on the look-out for the gunmen in the shooting of two teenagers here who were attempted killed and wounded along Gov. Ramos Avenue, Sta. Maria.

Police Station 7 commander Supt. Diomarie Albarico named the victims as Josel A. Carpio and Noel T. Agustin, both 19 years old.

Carpio was shot in his left hand and Agustin in the left leg. Both were rushed to the hospital and were declared in stable condition.

Initial investigation disclosed that the two were shot by gunmen aboard a white car around early dawn of Nov. 22, which then sped away towards an unknown direction.

Carpio and Agustin told police they did not recognize their assailants as police recovered three spent shells of Caliber .45 pistol at the crime scene.
