PAGADIAN CITY: A driver of the Rural Transit Mindanao Inc. (RTMI) bus is now in dire straits after Tungawan police filed a case of reckless driving resulting to damage of property against him.
Tungawan Policen Chief S/Insp. Rico Baid Pondol said the complaint was filed by the passenger van driver Lexter Verba against RTMI 9336 driver Marlon M. Pata Y Missal, following a vehicular accident.
Pondol added the Rural bus hit the passenger van when it hit tried to overtake along Purok Francisco, Langon on its way to Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay.
No one was reportedly injured during the accident except the damaged at the rear portion of the passenger van, the police chief disclosed.
Both vehicles were impounded for proper disposition of the case. It was not reported if the driver was arrested or not (Posted: MINDANAO PAGADIAN FRONTLINE)
