PAGADIAN CITY: A policeman was arrested recently for selling illegal drugs during a buy-bust operation, reports the Provincial Anti Illegal Drug and Special Operation Task Force (PAIDSOTF).
The police named the arrested policeman as PO2 Julster “Jojo” P. Templa, a resident of San Pedro District, this city, and is assigned at Margosatubig Municipal Police Station.
Templa was said to be on AWOL (absent without official leave) and is facing an administrative case for being so.
Provincial Director S/Supt. Sofronio Ecaldre said the suspect and his activities were under police surveillance for a week before being arrested.
Since January this year, three policemen involved with illegal drugs were already arrested. Two more, are under their watchful eyes, concludes Ecaldre.
