The Pagadian City Chamber of Commerce & Industry Foundation, Inc. (PCCCIFI) recently concluded its 1st Farmers Field Day last Monday, June 30, at the Green House Restaurant.
The said event, dubbed as “Enhancing Agricultural Productivity: Solution to Food Crisis,” was also hosted by Growth with Equity in Mindanao (GEM), Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (OPA) and DTI- Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Office (DTI-ZDS).
In a press release emailed to this paper last Friday, it said that participants in the said event will be accorded the opportunity to gain more knowledge and insights in improving their productivity using new technology, hybrid seedlings, effective agricultural products and practices and organic fertilizer use.
The said event was likewise attended by representatives from agricultural marketing companies and various farmers groups in the province. PR
