Emcor Grand Caravan 2nd Level targets indigents

The EMCOR Grand Caravan 2nd Level opening conducted at Plaza Luz gave out extra bonus to indigent families: three kilos of NFA rice as gift.

A selected 10 indigent families per barangay were made beneficiaries of the gift-giving activity held last June 24.

The Grand Caravan 2nd Level is a one week activity started by the business establishment with a motorcade from the Rizal Park and around the city towards Plaza Luz for the program at the Taklobo Stage.

The recipient families were identified and recommended by the City Mayor’s Office to receive EMCOR’s gift-giving program.

The families came from barangays, Balangasan, Sta. Lucia, Banale, Sta Maria, Napolan, Dumagoc, Santiago, San Pedro, Kawit and Balintawak.

Meanwhile, barangays Dao, Palpalan, Poloyagan and Bolatoc were also recipients of EMCOR Grand Caravan’s Panasonic water pump for their water system project.

EMCOR ATS Area Manager Henry Español also told MINDANAO MONITOR Other beneficiaries were the City Library, which received a 29" LG Color TV; Fatima Parish Church at Napolan Road, which received a Home Theater Video Component.

The event was conducted by the EMCOR Cluster Stores from this city headed by Gina Oraiz as area manager Region 4C and Español.

A series of activities like the nightly musical and a variety show was also scheduled every 7:00 in the evening during the week-long Grand Caravan.

June 24 was Battle of the Band; June 25, Search for Miss Fury; June 26, Dance Sports Competition; June 27, Singing Competition; June 28, Search for Macho Drivers; June 29, viewing of Manny Paquiao vs. David Diaz fight and later in the afternoon is the Drag Race while last June 30 was the live band show.
