SINGAPORE-BASED CATHOLIC HEALTH PROFS IN GENSAN


Members of the Singapore-based Catholic Association of Doctors, Nurses and Health Professionals in Asia (ACIM-Asia) after a brief powerpoint presentation of the city's profile at the City Hall conference room on Aug. 17. The 20-man team conducted their Rosa Mystica Health Mission, giving medical-dental-nursing free clinics in some rural barangays from August 12-17. They also sponsored the 1st Regional Bioethical Congress at the Lagao Gym, the purpose of which is to discuss the ethical dilemmas faced by health care professionals amidst laws that transgress morality. Participants were health care practicioners, staff and students from nursing and paramedical schools in Region XII. Hosting them is Ms. Yolly Eileen Gamutan, RN (extreme right).
