PAGADIAN CITY: Pagadian is destined for progress; Javaved Development Corporation (JDC) Vice-president Dante Carandang describes the transformation of the city since his last visit here five years ago.
JDC is a group of businessmen who pooled their investment in hotel business known as “Hotel Alindahaw.” 
Alindahaw is a kind of butterfly whose name was popularized by former then Gov. Vicente Cerilles when he made it his political battle cry. Cerilles presently heads JDC.
Carandang said he is proud to be a part of Hotel Alindahaw who joined other investors in putting it up in Zamboanga del Sur.
Another Javaved investor is lawyer Ernesto Go, a partner of Rep. Antonio Cerilles.
Go said that Pagadian is growing so fast and it is now ripe for other investors to come and put up their business interests here.
Situated adjacent to Gaisano Supermall, now ongoing construction, along Rizal Avenue, Hotel Alindahaw can be the best venue for conventions, weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and any occasion. 
Hotel Alindahaw also houses the ticket office of Asian Spirit airline which serves Manila to Pagadian and vice versa.
First District Rep. Victor Yu remarked that Hotel Alindahaw is a home that resolves the accommodation problem they experienced before especially in hosting big conventions like that of the Jaycess, Lions and other civic organizations.
