Motortrade opens in Pagadian

MOTORTRADE, the trusted motorcycle company in the country for 40 years already, opened its newest branch in Pagadian last Oct. 6.

Located at the ground floor of Glavy’s Building at Jamisola Street, Sta. Lucia, Motortrade sells known motorcycle brands such as Kawasaki, Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki and MCX.

Severo dela Cruz of Davao City heads Motortrade as general manager along with Ronie Noro as operations manager.

In the inaugural program held during its opening, City administrator Rufino Amor, who represented Mayor Samuel Co, read the mayor’s message thanking Motortrade for choosing the regional center in their site expansion.

Dela Cruz, in his reply, said that that their company chose Pagadian City because of its bustling business activity as a commercial center in Zamboanga Peninsula.

The general manager likened Motortrade to a respectable corporate citizen who respects laws and regulations by paying his taxes regularly and diligently.

He said that at first, the owners of the company only set up branches in General Santos, Cagayan de Oro, Tagum and Davao cities and were then hesitant to open more stores because they were apprehensive about peace and order condition of Mindanao.

Dela Cruz added that he was able to dissuade the owners to spread out and make it a goal this year to open up 50 more branches in the island.

With several competitors already in the market and much ahead of them, Dela Cruz finds comfort in his belief that Motortrade still has the edge because of high-quality service.

“We guarantee excellence before and after sales service. Our mechanics are factory trained according to the standard of our suppliers,” he notes.

At present, Motortrade has 350 stores all over the Philippines.
