12 Zambosur MPS receive new policecars

Camp Abelon, Pagadian City – Twelve local Municipal Police station are now mobile after they received light PNP vehicles from the Philippine National Police Transformation program initiated by Camp Crame after 13 Key result areas are to be program, and one of this is the police mobility.

With their local government units counterpart especially in the transportation and shipping expense of the said PNP vehicles, Municipalities of Molave, Dumingag, Mahayag, Tukuran and Aurora for the 1st District while municipalities of San Miguel, Tabina, Dinas, San Pablo, Lakewood, Kumalarang and Vencinzo Sagun for the 2nd District received their units after the blessing and turn-over rites held at Camp Abelon this week.

Assistant Provincial Director for Administration, P/Supt George Galano, who at the same as the concurrent provincial program management officer said that the turn-over of 12 vehicles to include one(1) SOCO (Scene of the Crime Operatives) ZDS Provincial Police Office Ambulance is in line with the PNP Integrated Transformation Program.

“This is line with the on-going PNP and the Logistic Support Services program as the result of the 13 key areas for priority of the PNP command nationwide, which is police mobility.” APD/PSupt. Galano said.

Meanwhile Mayor Jun Saniel of Molave said that with this program,” efficiency in our police action is augmented with fast mobility this because of this vehicles that we long for years.”

While Mayor Boy Vega of Tukuran was quoted saying that, “Our financial counterpart for the shipping and transport of the vehicles from Camp Crame to the Cagayan de Oro City Port is minimal to be compared in our peace efforts and public safety financial endeavor, in which we did not hesitate to help and support our police forces.”

Mayors from other municipalities attended in the blessing ceremonies held with Fr. Vince Romanos initiating.

Meantime, PNPZDS-SOCO (Scene of the Crime operatives) and PNP Crime Lab unit also thank the higher headquarters in granting there request. The PNP SOCO Unit received a Mitsubishi Van/Ambulance type vehicle for their use.

“ It is dream come true” said P/Supt Susan Cayabyab, SOCO provincial chief.

As part of the PNP mobilization program, the vehicles distributed and turn-over to the municipal PNP Stations were ten (10) Toyota D-4D Hi-Lux back to back light vehicle, One (1) Toyota Innova, and One (1) Mitsubishi Ambulance/Van Type.

“With this development, the provincial command is hoping to double your effort and be effective in every response or assistance to our people’s need in any event that will hampered the living condition, properties, of this communities in respect to peace and order and public safety which is our responsibility.” Galano pointed out.

P/Supt Galano represented the provincial director P/SSupt Ramon M. Ochotorena who is now in the regional office to attend the 18th PNP Founding Anniversary regional celebrations.
