RAMON MAGSAYSAY, ZAMBOSUR—Six unidentified men robbed Rural Transit aircon bus No. 904, Thursday evening, Dec. 4, carting away all the passengers’ belongings and money.
Bus driver Romeo Sinajon Pilapil said the incident happened along the national highway of Brgy. Esperanza, this town.
SPO2 Wilson Legados of RM Police Station narrated later to inquiring journalists that two of the robbers took ride from the Molave terminal enroute to Pagadian City.
Upon reaching Esperanza, the two robbers suddenly stood up, pointed a gun at the driver and declared a holdup.
The robbers then ordered the bus driver to stopped the bus along the highway wherein four other individuals boarded the bus and helped divest passengers’ money and valuable items.
Bus conductor Jessel Israel said the robbers took away his P6,000 collection, P2,000 personal cash, Nokia 3310, wrist watch and wallet containing several ATM cards.
Other passengers declared the robbers also took off with their cellphones, undetermined amount of money and several important documents.
It was not known exactly what the robbers’ descriptions are or at exactly where they disembarked except that the police report just stated that the robbers fled away towards an unknown direction.
