BUTUAN CITY—Robbers did not spare a law office located at the second floor of Mamacos Building in Jose Aquino Avenue, this city, even on Christmas day when valuable items inside said office were carted away late afternoon of Dec. 24.
Police said lawyer Anthony Ben Canton Abarquez, 32, married and resident of 365, 7th St., Guingona Subdivision, Butuan City complained to Butuan City Police Office that still unidentified robbery suspects allegedly ransacked his law office.
Abarquez claimed he lost his laptop computer estimated to worth P30,000.00, laptop bag, LCD computer monitor and a DVD player.
Initial police investigation revealed the suspects entered the law office by destroying the door lock.
Police said they are conducting follow up operations to recover the stolen items.
Abarquez prayed that since some Butuan policemen may have known who these suspected notorious robbers are, stolen items will be returned soon.
In the past, stolen items by ransacking robbers were recovered later by the police.
