Addicts stone Funeral Parlor

BUTUAN CITY—The roofing of a funeral parlor in Barangay Ampayon this city was partly destroyed after unidentified group of youngsters allegedly high in drugs stormed the said establishment with huge stones last night, the Ampayon Police sub-station said.

The funeral parlor located at populated area in the biggest barangay of this city situated along the national highway here some seven kilometers away from the city proper is owned by Arturo Cinco, 33, married and resident of Purok 1-B in said barangay

Cinco immediately reported the incident to the Ampayon Police sub-station.

Cinco’s neighbors allegedly refused to identify the suspects which according to one of the Cinco family members were all youngsters who were in a drinking spree in a store near the funral parlor.

Cinco estimated the damaged of his roofing to be at P50,000 luckily no one among his household members particularly children were hurt of the senseless incident.

The suspects were reportedly high on drugs and on their washing sessions (drinking spree) at a local store after emerging from suspected shabu tiangge in the locality.
