Monitor’s choice is first, Arnejo is Ms. Pagadian ‘08

Candidate No. 4, Dannah Crestine Arnejo was chosen and crowned Ms. Pagadian City 2008 during last week’s colorful Coronation Night.

She led five other finalists out from the whole 12 contestatnts.

The other five were: Maggie Bonsubre (No. 10), first runner-up; Crystel Fate Casinillo (No. 3), second runner-up; Marjorie Abaa (No. 8), third runner-up; Ivy Cagampang (No. 12), fourth runner-up; and Angelica May Intong (No. 1), fifth runner-up.

Bonsubre was chosen “Darling of the Press” by the Zamboanga del Sur Pagadian City Press Club Inc. (ZPPI) and Miss Photogenic.

She was chosen by this Mindanao Monitor’s as the likely choice for Miss Pagadian 2008.

Arnejo was chosen by her peers as “Miss Friendship,” Abaa awarded is “Best in Talent” while Cagampang is “Best in Swimwear.”

Arnejo, 24, is a registered nurse. She graduated from Southwestern University in Cebu City. She is the second daughter of Engr. Danilo and Edna Arnejo.

She received P25,000 as prize plus a round trip ticket aboard Negros Navigation to any destination in the country.

“Thank you Lord for giving me the chance and the opportunity of having this challenge as ambassador of goodwill for Pagadian,” was Arnejo message after being chosen.
