President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo while being welcomed by GenSan City Mayor Pedro Acharon, Jr. upon her arrival at the Gen. Santos International Airport on October 18, for a short stop before leaving for Butuan. The president flew in by chopper from Sarangani Province where she attended the Regional Cooperative Summit.
