RP-New Zealand anti-poor project launched in Camiguin

Romualdo (extreme left) and New Zealand Ambassador to the Philippines David Pine, sign the memorandum of agreement, formally launching the Camiguin Coastal Resource Management Project (CCRMP) yesterday (August 16) at the Provincial Convention Center in Mambajao, the capital town of Camiguin. The more than P116-million project, to be implemented within five years, seeks to promote sustainable fish harvesting and coastal resource conservation and management as a means to alleviate poverty among coastal communities in the province.
