PAGADIAN CITY: Ramon Magsaysay policemen arrested a
person wanted for rape and acts of lasciviousness at Brgy. Paradise, last Dec.
3.
Police named him as Edilberto A. Matalay following a
report of an informant of his presence in the area.
He is now in detention at the Ramon Magsaysay Police
Station.
In Dinas, joint PNP units conducted a raid in the
houses of Norodin Lam, Mair Lam and two unidentified companions inside the compound
of Ustadz Suwaib Ibrahim last Dec. 4.
Ibrahim’s compund is located at Purok Roxas,Sitio
Botitian, Sambulawan.
The PNP team seized and confiscated assorted
firearms and ammunitions from the house of Norodin Lam.
Norodin was also arrested, following his warrant
being served along with Amer Lam and Brian Jon Lindagan for of qualified theft.
The arrested persons and seized items were brought
to Camp Abelon, here for proper disposition.
In Brgy. Tulangan, this city, a woman charged with Estafa
was arrested by police, identified as Maone Joel D. Morales, Dec. 3, after police
served her arrest warrant.
In Brgy. Lapedian, members of the Provincial
Anti-Illegal Gambling Special Operation Task Force (PAIGSOTF) arrested a woman based
on a search warrant for illegal gambling.
City PNP chief Insp. Dahlan Tidal Samuddin identified the woman as Ana Maria E. Pabi, arrested in the evening of Dec. 2 in the
neighborhood.
Recovered from her possession are peso bill, one
notebook, two ball pens and 349 tally sheets.
