Pasko Nato '09 finishes off with Awards Night

FOR another year, Margosatubig edged 26 other participating LGU booths
in the AHC LGU Christmas Bazaar Contest after it was chosen as the
winner in the ZamboSur Christmas Festival, better known as Pasko Nato
'09.

The 10-day Christmas affair concluded with the awarding of winners of
the different competitions and the Agro-tourism and Heritage Center in
Dao.

Following Margosatubig, in order, are Dumingag, Dimataling, which
likewise received the Topseller Award, then Dinas and Molave.

Like Dimataling, Margosatubig is a consistent winner in the past AHC
booth contests, with its previous winnings as Most Artistic booth and
as Best in Tourism Showcase in Megayon 2007 and 2008, respectively.

In other competitions, like the Dao Christmas Lights Contest, first
prize went to Purok Militar, followed by Purok Patag and Purok
Mahayahay.

In the AHC Light–A–Tree Competition, J. H. Cerilles State College
(JHCSC) Dimataling came first while JHCSC–Vincenzo Sagun is second and
JHCSC–Pagadian Campus came third.

The DepEd–2nd District, Division of Zambosur bagged the top spot in
the AHC Belen Contest, followed by PNP-Zambosur in second place and
Zamsureco–I.

Meanwhile, the Philippine National Red Cross–Zamboanga del Sur Chapter
is first in the AHC Hanging Christmas Symbols Contest, followed by the
Three Blind Mice and the Paklian Architects.

Governor Aurora Cerilles showed her appreciation and praised the
Provincial Tourism Office headed by Anthony Frederick Padayhag for the
well-organized events.

"Thank you so much for your ingenuity and hard work in support to our
continuing development of the Agro–tourism and Heritage Complex,"
Cerilles said.

Padayhag, for his part, also thanked the assistance from the different
committees and participating agencies and sectors that made Pasko Nato
'09 successful.

Also timed with the awarding night is the grand final of the 3rd Wild
Z Dance Challenge Showdown, with the Mix Stylers sweeping off the
competition, Next Page in second and Headmix in third.
