ACHARON FETES KOREAN YOUTH CORPS. Gensan Mayor Jun Acharon with some of the 23 members of the Pacific Asia Society (PAS) Youth Corps from Korea during a welcome dinner he tendered for them recently. The young ambassadors, all college students from different universities in Korea were in town to perform community service activities. An NGO, PAS' objective is "promoting mutual communication and cooperation by linking Pacific Asian countries which have similar histories, customs and locations", according to Kim Yoon Sung, its Supervisor.
