Robbers ransack Butuan lodging house

BUTUAN CITY--After a foiled bank robbery attempt in Bayugan City, armed robbers this time were successful to rob a lodging house here early dawn, Saturday, forcibly took away from stunned customers and son of the lodging house owner some P200,000.00 in cash money, jewelries, watches and other personal belongings.

Caraga Police Regional Office official report claimed Jose Kionesala, 21, single, son of the owner of Mitz Lodging House 2 located at T. Calo St. this city narrated to the responding cops that two suspects armed with .45 cal pistols entered the lodging house at around 2 a.m. early dawn of December 6.

Kionesala said the suspects pointed their .45 cal pistols at him and ordered to turned over to the suspects the day’s earnings while slowly taking away his Italian gold necklace worth P18,000.

The suspects also took away watches and personal belongings before leaving the premises on board black XRM Honda single motorcycle with no plate number

Police claimed they are now conducting manhunt operation against the suspects.
