claver, SURIGAO DEL NORTE—The De La Hoya-Pacquiao Dream Match proved harmful to a 37-year old man in san Miguel after he was stabbed by his buddy over a bet.

Caraga Police identified the victim as Richard Alita, while the suspects were named as Arcesio Obligado Taroma Jr. and Alvin Nadao Agsawang.

The victim and the suspects are neighbors.

Police said Alita was stabbed in his left chest and back and is currently recuperating in the hospital.

Both Taroma and Agsawang are presently detained at the San Miguel Municipal Police Office while awaiting charges.
